About: Women of Class Summit 2027

The Women of Class community began as a bold idea shared amongst three women to fill a perceived void for women in the class action field in Canada: create a safe space where women could support one another, celebrate each other’s achievements, and share the experiences that define this practice for female litigators. What started as a simple listserv quickly grew into a vibrant network, and within just six months, that spark became the inaugural Women of Class Summit. From day one, Emily Assini, Sabrina Lombardi, and Marg Waddell shaped its vision—bringing intention, creativity, and heart to an event designed to uplift women at every stage of their career.

Today, the Women of Class Summit continues to embody that founding spirit of connection, collaboration, and confidence. Attendees gather not only for cutting-edge legal discussions, but also to build friendships, recharge in a beautiful setting, and celebrate the extraordinary women who make this community what it is. Whether you’re sharing insights, swapping stories, or cheering on a colleague, this summit is your invitation to feel inspired, supported, and energized to keep making a positive impact on each other and the legal landscape, especially for women.
